Houston Texans sign three-year deal with Ed Reed

  • The Houston Texans signed former Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed to a three-year deal on Friday.

Although terms were not disclosed, media reports suggest the deal is worth $15 million with $5 million guaranteed.

Reed has spent his entire 11-year career with this year’s Super Bowl champs after he was selected as the 24th overall pick of the 2002 draft.

The nine-time Pro Bowl selection has led the Ravens in interceptions three times, totaling 61 in 160 career games.
