Jules Bianchi, the Formula 1 driver who suffered serious head injuries during a crash at the Japanese GP in October, is out of an artificial coma, the 25-year-old’s parents reportedly said.
The Frenchman was flown from a Yokkaichi hospital to Nice, France, where he is in intensive care.
The Marussia driver’s treatment has now entered “a new phase concerned with the improvement of his brain function,” his parents said in a statement.
