Football legend Eusebio dies at age 71

  • Portugal football legend Eusebio died from a heart attack at the age of 71. 

    The top scorer at the World Cup in 1996 was fondly known as the "Black Panther" and was considered to be one of the greatest sports players in the world. 

    "Always eternal #Eusebio, rest in peace," current Portugal icon Cristiano Ronaldo tweeted. 

    The player's full name was Eusebio da Silva Ferreira and he scored nine goals at the World Cup in England and won acclaim for helping the country reach the semifinals.
