Ex-Cowboy found guilty of killing teammate
January 24 , 2014
Former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Josh Brent has been found guilty of killing teammate Jerry Brown in an accident, which occurred due to intoxication.
Reports suggest that the 25-year-old was convicted of driving in a drunk state and crashing his vehicle in Dec. 2012. He now faces a penalty of up to 20 years in prison followed by possible probation.
The prosecution proved that he was guilty by pointing to his 0.189 blood alcohol level, which clearly meant that Brent had a total of 17 drinks.
