Detroit Lion apologized to marching band
October 10 , 2013
The Detroit Lions' center Dominic Raiola talked trash to the marching band of the University of Wisconsin and apologized for his behavior.
Raiola referred to his interaction with the members of the band as being "inappropriate" and apologized to those he offended, "along with all of the members of Wisconsin's marching band."
Reports suggest that Raiola called the tuba players names and repeatedly insulted them using homophobic slurs; he even threatened to sexually assault a trumpet player's sister.
The Detroit Lion, who has been fined over such incidents twice will also make a big donation to the band.
The Lions' coach mentioned that he didn't hear anything; no disciplinary action is being taken by the team.
