Delta apologizes for World Cup tweet as no giraffes in Ghana

  • Delta Air Lines is being criticized for tweeting a few photos after the US beat Ghana. One of them featured the Statue of Liberty, but the other one showed a giraffe.

Media notes that giraffes don't live in the region and Delta is being called ignorant and racist.

The company apologized soon enough and said that it is sorry for it's "precious" tweet. Delta changed the word to "previous" in its next tweet.
