Cycling: Spain's Alberto Contador wins second Giro d'Italia title

  • Spain’s Alberto Contador has won his second Giro d'Italia title.

The 32-year-old, who will now attempt to win this year's Tour de France, clinched the Milan title by one minute 53 seconds from the 24-year-old Italian, Fabio Aru.

While Contador, the 2008 champion, rides for Tinkoff-Saxo, Aru rides for Astana.

Contador, who has become the second man to win all three Grand titles, described the Giro victory as a “very special experience.”
