Crystal Palace takes Alan Pardew as new manager
January 2 , 2015
Newcastle’s Alan Pardew is now the new manager of Crystal Palace. He replaces Neil Warnock. The two clubs have agreed compensation over the 53-year-old’s new assignment.
Crystal Palace managed a goalless draw at Aston Villa on 1 January. Newcastle is placed at the 10th position in the Premier League.
Pardew’s association with Palace goes back to 1987 when he dedicated four years playing in the midfield. He is also credited with scoring the goal that won the match for Eagles against Liverpool 4-3 in the FA Cup last four in 1990.
