Cricket World Cup: New Zealand beat Scotland by 3 wickets
February 17 , 2015
It was a strange scorecard that read three wickets in hand but 25.1 overs to spare as New Zealand won their second Pool A match of the ICC Cricket World Cup against Scotland on Tuesday in Dunedin.
Scotland were struggling at 12-4 before half centuries by Matt Machan and Richie Berrington helped them to 142 in 36.2 overs.
But New Zealand’s run chase was anything but smooth as their wickets tumbled before they crossed the victory target in the 26th over.
