Cricket World Cup: India defeat South Africa by 130 runs
February 23 , 2015
Shikhar Dhawan scored a brilliant 137 as India continued their good form in the Cricket World Cup to inflict a massive 130-run defeat on South Africa in Melbourne on Sunday.
Besides Dhawan’s century, Ajinkya Rahane’s 79 and Virat Kohli’s 46 helped India to reach a total of 307-7.
In reply, South Africa were bundled out for 177, with more than 9 overs still remaining. This was South Africa’s worst defeat in World Cup history.
India, who have won both their games so far, remain at the top of Pool B.
