Cricket: South Africa beat West Indies by 131 runs

  • Hashim Amla and Rilee Rossouw hit centuries as South Africa defeated West Indies by 131 runs in their fifth one-day international against West Indies at Centurion on Wednesday, January 28, according to media reports.

    The pair’s third wicket partnership was 247, a South African record.

    South Africa piled up 361-5 in the allotted 42 overs, reduced due to rain. West Indies were bowled out for 230.  

    South Africa have won the series 4-1, which should boost their confidence ahead of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
