Chris Froome pulls out of road race World Championships
September 30 , 2013
Chris Froome pulled out of the men's road race at the World Championships in Tuscany, ending his dream to win, as rain fell miserably down on them. As embarrassing and shocking it may seem, this may be the worst day in British cycling history. Froome ended with a huge disappointing especially from Sir Bradley Wiggins, as they suffered the embarrassment of not even having a single rider left with just 50 miles of the 169 mile route remaining. Rod Ellingworth, the team coach was very disappointed and to add on, the team was left speechless when news came that Jonathan Tiernan Locke has been pulled off their team because of a doping investigation.
