Chicago Bears sign Martellus Bennet to four-year contract

  • The Chicago Bears announced on Tuesday that former Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants tight end Martellus Bennett had agreed to a four-year contract.

    Bennett, 26, played for the Giants last season and posted career highs of 55 receptions, 626 yards and five touchdowns.

    Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. According to sources, the deal is worth around $20 million.
