January 15 , 2015
Australian pacer Brett Lee is retiring from all forms of cricket.
The 38-year-old had quit from internationals in mid-2012 and was concentrating on Twenty20 since then.
Announcing his decision, Lee said he had spent an “amazing and emotional” two decades in the game. Lee, who has taken 380 one-day international wickets, made his announcement on Thursday, January 15, at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Cricket Australia’s head James Sutherland described Lee as an “exceptional cricketer” who had fans from around the world.
