Baseball should ban chewing tobacco

Tony Gwynn blamed his death on chewing tobacco and nearly 1 in 3 big-leaguers have the same bad habit, as per USA Today.
CBS Sports notes that the league has taken steps to deal with this problem and has asked players to not chew tobacco while being interviewed on TV.
Ernie Paladino of CBS Sports mentioned that MLB should ensure the safety of their players just like the NHL and NFL are making efforts to. However, it may be "too late for the best pure hitter of our generation."
