Barcelona Wins Key Match as Lionel Messi Strikes Twice

  • Barcelona keeps up pressure on Real Madrid, La Liga leader, as the former defeated Real Sociedad 3-2. While Lionel Messi scored twice (first goal at 17th minute and second one at 37 minute), Paco Alcacer struck at 44th minute of the game.

    The 25 yard distance opening goal from Messi set the momentum in favour of Barcelona. 2-0 lead of Barcelona was reduced at 42nd minute of the game when Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti put the ball in his own goal.
