Baltimore Ravens win AFC, Enter Super Bowl

  • On Sunday the Baltimore Ravens beat New England Patriots to win their AFC title rematch and reserving their place in a Super Bowl showdown against the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens dominated second-half and won an impressive 28-13 victory. Quarterback Joe Flacco took the lead while the Ravens pulled up their defense line against New England. The victory witnessed by a crowd of 68,756 people at the Gillette Stadium came as a sweet revenge for the Ravens who had walked off the grounds after a loss to the Pats last year. Besides, this sealed their showdown against the 49-ers who had earlier beaten Atlanta Falcons 28-24. The Super Bowl promises to be an interesting one as it is the first Super Bowl meeting between sibling head coaches. John Harbaugh, head coach of the Ravens is the older sibling of 49-ers head coach Jim Harbaugh.
