Australian Open: Roger Federer loses in third round to Andreas Seppi

Second seed Roger Federer has crashed out of the Australian Open after he was defeated in the third round by Italian Andreas Seppi, who is ranked 46th.
The four-time champion lost 6-4 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 7-6 (7-5) on Friday, January 23, to Seppi, 30, who beat the 33-year-old Swiss for the first time in 11 encounters, according to media reports.
Seppi described it as “one of my best matches.”
Federer, who has won 17 Grand Slams, said it was “tough losing the first two sets.”
