Australia All Out for 530; Smith smashes 192

  • Australia scored a massive 530 runs in their first innings of the third Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The match was resumed post lunch session when hosts were 389 for seven. Captain Steven Smith made a significant contribution with his splendid knock of 192 runs. This was his third consecutive century. For the eighth wicket partnership, Ryan Harris (74), along with the captain, added 106 runs. Mohammed Shami, by taking four wickets, provided a little reprieve to India. He was followed by Ravichandran Ashwin and Umesh Yadav who took three wickets each.
