ATP Swiss Indoors: Nadal to face Federer in final

  • Third seed Rafael Nadal overcame a tough challenge from France’s Richard Gasquet to reach the finals of the ATP Swiss Indoors event.

    The Spaniard took more than two hours to beat Gasquet 6-4 7-6 (9-7) in the semi-final.

    In the other semi-final, Roger Federer sailed through, beating American Jack Sock 6-3 6-4. 

    Meanwhile, Jamie Murray and John Peers have reached the men’s Doubles final.

    Federer became the first man to reach an ATP event final for ten straight years in the Open Era.
