Ashes: Steven Finn takes five wickets as England in sight of win

  • Steven Finn grabbed five wickets to take England within striking distance of victory on the second day of the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston.

Some gutsy batting by David Warner and Peter Nevill saved Australia the blushes and helped them cross England's first innings total of 281. At stumps, the visitors were tottering at 168-7, just 23 runs ahead of England.

Earlier, Joe Root and Moeen Ali scored half centuries as the hosts ended their first innings with a lead of 145. England will be looking to wrap up the match quickly on day three.
