Argentina Open: Rafael Nadal wins title, equals clay court record
March 2 , 2015
Rafael Nadal defeated Juan Monaco 6-4 6-1 in the final of the Argentina Open on Sunday at Buenos Aires to win his 46th clay court title, equaling the record of Guillermo Vilas.
The Spaniard broke the Argentine's serve four times to register an easy win in one hour 26 minutes in a rain-delayed match.
Nadal, who has won the French Open nine times, said he had “prepared very well” for the tournament.
The World number four was hit by injuries in the latter half of 2014.
