Amantle Montsho, former world champ, fails drugs test

Botswana’s Amantle Montsho, the former world 400m champion, has failed a drugs test after the July 29 finals of the Commonwealth Games race in which she finished fourth.
Montsho, 31, tested positive for methylhexaneamine, a banned stimulant. In a statement the Commonwealth Games Federation said the substance is "prohibited as a stimulant under class s6 of WADA's Prohibited List”.
Montsho, the 400m gold winner in the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, has asked for a B sample test, which will be conducted soon.
