Adidas bags $1.3 billion deal with Manchester United

  • Adidas has struck a deal with Manchester United, as per media reports. The English soccer club will wear the logo of the sports apparel firm for the next 10 years.

    The German company has agreed to pay around $1.3 billion to Manchester United over 10 years, which is more than double the existing deal between the club and Nike.  

    Though Nike is the largest sports apparel firm in the world, according to revenue, Adidas has a deeper relationship with soccer teams and clubs.
