Actor Jason Alexander apologizes for "gay" cricket remark

  • Actor Jason Alexander has apologized for calling cricket a “gay” sport during a television talk show.

In a blog post, the former Seinfeld star explained his comments on CBS’s Late Late Show were meant as a joke, writing that later conversations with his gay friends led him to realize his insensitivity.

Alexander’s remarks were made on Friday’s show when he told host Craig Ferguson that aspects of cricket made it a “gay game”.
