ABN Amro World Tennis: Andy Murray beats Vasek Pospisil

  • Top seed Andy Murray beat Vasek Pospisil in straight sets in the second round of Rotterdam’s ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament on Thursday.

    The Briton faced ankle trouble in the beginning of the second set, but came from behind to clinch the match 6-3 7-5.

    The 27-year-old Scot hit just 14 winners compared to his Canadian opponent’s 25, but made fewer unforced errors.

    Murray will face Frenchman Gilles Simon in the quarters.
