A study on baseball games reveals facts.

A study on baseball games conducted by the Wall Street Journal revealed that a lot of time during these games is merely wasted on standing around. The Wall Street Journal timed not one but three baseball games and recorded all the time during the games that could qualify as being called action.
This study is unscientific but it proves that a three-hour long baseball game would only show us 18 minutes of the actual game. The Journal writes that most of the time wasted is the "time between innings" which is basically the time for commercials when the game is shown on television.
However, most of the time that is lost is time between pitches. Despite all this, there are a lot of people that prefer baseball over other sports in which players move constantly.
