A-Rod sues MLB

  • In addition to appealing his suspension, Alex Rodrigues is also suing MLB.

He mentioned the league's "tortious interference' as part of a 'witch hunt' to suspend him from baseball. The suit has also accused MLB for paying Anthony Bosch $5M for his cooperation; Bosch ran Biogenesis anti-aging clinic at the center of the latest scandal.

The lawsuit further states that the league paid $150,000 in cash for records related to A-Rod and well as leaked stories about his investigation to the media "turning what is supposed to be a confidential disciplinary and appeal process into a public trial of Mr. Rodriguez."

He claims his reputation has been "permanently harmed," holding the ability to affect his earning abilities.
