April 13 , 2013
Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker and Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom's thriller Zulu is to close this year's Cannes Festival.
The film, set during the apartheid era in South Africa, is based on a novel of the same name by Caryl Fere.
The thriller was directed by writer of The Tourist Jerome Salle and filmed entirely on location.
Whitaker, who won an Oscar for his performance in The Last King of Scotland, stars alongside Bloom as a policeman investigating the death of two women in Cape Town.
Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby will open the festival on May 15.
