Unsuitable content: Online music videos get age certificates in UK
March 26 , 2015
Music videos on sites like YouTube and Vevo will now come with age ratings in the UK as part of a state-backed project aimed at protecting children from inappropriate content.
The move comes after unease over 'explicit' videos by artists such as Miley Cyrus and Rihanna.
The British Board of Film Classification will decide the ratings. Universal, Sony and Warners are the three major record firms participating in the pilot scheme.
