TV and film actor Ernest Borgnine dies at 95

  • Oscar-winning actor Ernest Borgnine has died at the age of 95.

    He died of renal failure in a Los Angeles hospital with his family by his side.

    With a career spanning more than 60 years, Borgnine continued acting until recently with a role in the hospital drama ER in 2009.

    He won an Oscar in 1955 for his role in the film Marty.
