Stars gather in London to remember Richard Attenborough

  • A service was held in Central London to remember Richard Attenborough, an Oscar-winning director. According to media reports, the event was attended by stars from the British Film industry who spoke in honor of Richard Attenborough. Some of the leading stars at the event included, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Michael Caine, Alan Rickman, Jane Seymour and Sir John Hurt. TV wildlife presenter and brother of Richard Attenborough, Sir David Attenborough and Sir Ben Kingsley, who played the role of Mahatma Gandhi in Richard Attenborough’s 1982 award-winning film 'Gandhi', spoke during the West Minister Abbey ceremony. Richard Attenborough had died in 2014 at the age of 90.
