Sid Caesar dies at 91
February 13 , 2014
One of the first stars on television died at the age of 91. Larry King was the first one to announce the death of Sid Caesar, who was "at once one of the greatest improvisors and one of the most rigorous sketch-comedy artists in television history," Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly said.
The AP called him innovative and influential. However, his success came at a price considering his addiction to drugs and alcohol, which he also talked about in his autobiography 'Where Have I Been.'
Caesar kicked his addictions later in the 1980s.
