Renowned Greek singer Demis Roussos dies

  • The popular Greek singer Demis Roussos has died at the age of 68 in a hospital in Athens, media reports said. Roussos sold over 60 million albums across the world. His greatest hits were from the seventies and eighties, including 'Goodbye', 'Forever and Ever', and 'Quand je t'aime'. He was part of Aphrodite's Child, a rock group.

    In a tribute, Vangelis, a fellow band member from Child, said the “magic” in Roussos's voice had made “millions of people around the world very happy”.
