Renowned British crime novelist PD James dies

  • PD James, the renowned British crime novelist whose books sold millions of copies worldwide, has died on Thursday morning, November 27, at the age of 94 at her Oxford home, media reports say.

    Many of her books featured the sleuth Adam Dalgliesh and were adapted into television series and films.

    Her novels, include The Murder Room and Death Comes to Pemberley.

    Her publishers Faber and Faber in a statement described James as “one of the world's great writers” and “very remarkable in every aspect of her life.”
