'Real Housewives of New Jersey' stars could face up to 30 years in prison

  • The married couple in the reality show "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Teresa Giudice and her husband Giuseppe "Joe" Guidice now face charges in their fraud case.

The couple have been freed on $500,000 bond each but are allowed to travel only in New York and New Jersey. Their passports have been surrendered and it was revealed that Joe is not a citizen of the United States and could be deported to Italy.

Teresa said she supports her husbands and wants to resolve the charges. She said "I'm committed to my family and intend to maintain our lives in the best way possible, which includes continuing my career."

The most serious of all charges that the couple are facing could require them to carry a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison as well as $1 million in fine.
