'Queen of Disco' Donna Summer's funeral held

  • Hundreds of Donna Summer's friends and family have attended a private funeral ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee.

    No cameras were allowed into the service at the Christ Presbyterian Church.

    Famous for disco classics such as I Feel Love and Love To Love You Baby, Summer died last week at the age of 63 from lung cancer.

    Summer won five Grammy Awards was the first black artist to win a Grammy in a rock category, taking home the best rock vocal performance for Hot Stuff in 1979.

    She is survived by husband Bruce Sudano, three daughters, Brooklyn, Mimi and Amanda and four grandchildren.
