Oprah Winfrey makes $12 million donation to new museum

American talk-show host Oprah Winfrey is to donate $12 million towards a new museum dedicated to African American history.
The museum, located on Washington D.C.’s National Mall, is due to be completed in 2015.
It will also feature a 35-seat theater named after Winfrey, who is also on the museum's advisory council.
Winfrey has previously donated $1 million to the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
