Neil Armstrong's 'souvenirs from moon' go on display

  • Several souvenirs, which Neil Armstrong had brought back after his historic Apollo 11 moon trip,are now going on display in a museum in the US.

    The items include a 16mm film camera that captured the craft’s landing on the lunar surface in 1969 and the astronaut’s first steps on the surface of the moon.

    Armstrong’s wife informed the National Air and Space museum was informed about the bag containing the treasure. She discovered it while clearing a closet after her husband’s death in 2012, reports said.
