Miss Saigon, musical set in Vietnam war, sweeps WhatsOnStage awards

  • In a record haul, Miss Saigon has bagged nine prizes at the WhatsOnStage awards, which focus mainly on the theater scene in London.

The awards included the best West End show, best direction, best actor and actress in a musical, and best choreography.

The musical, which is set during the Vietnam War, was nominated in 12 categories. Voting for the WhatsOnStage awards is done solely by members of the public.
