Milla Jovovich to release album

  • Milla Jovovich has announced she is set to reprise her musical career by releasing an album later this year.

    The supermodel and actress said she had always planned to release more music since her 1994 debut with The Divine Comedy LP.

    "Hopefully by October I'll be able to put something out. It's called Sweeter Than Madness and my musician friend Chris Brenner is producing it," said Jovovich, who is currently travelling the globe promote her new film,Resident Evil: Retribution.

    Milla also spoke on collaborating with her ex, Stuart Zender, on the album, adding that there were no hard feelings between them.

    "My ex-boyfriend Stuart Zender, a founder member of Jamiroquai, plays bass," she added.

    The 36-year-old has appeared on film soundtracks such as Underworld, Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans and The Million Dollar Hotel.

    In 1999, she formed an experimental band called Plastic Has Memory with Chris, in which she penned lyrics, sang and played electric guitar.
