Legendary actor, director Richard Attenborough died aged 90

  • Legendary actor and film director, Richard Attenborough, died at the age of 90 on Sunday, August 24, according to the reports. 

    After a fruitful acting career in films such as Brighton Rock, he turned to direction. His most famous work as a director was Gandhi, the film that won eight Academy Awards in 1983, including a Best Director Oscar for Attenborough.

    In a tribute David Cameron, UK’s prime minister, said on Twitter that Attenborough was “one of the greats” of cinema.
