Kutcher tops Forbes' list of highest paid TV actors

  • Ashton Kutcher has been named as television’s highest paid actor, according to Forbes' annual survey released on Wednesday.

Forbes estimated Kutcher earned $24 million from May 2011 to May 2012.

Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen on the hit comedy Two And a Half Men last year.

Sheen, who now stars in cable show Anger Management following his public firing from the popular CBS show, did not make the top ten.

In second and third place respectively were House star Hugh Laurie and Ray Romano of the now-cancelled Men of a Certain Age, with $18 million each.

Forbes’ estimates did not include deductions for manager and agent fees or "the other costs of being a celebrity."
