Justin Bieber has made a $50,000 donation, which is part of a deal to settle a drunken driving case in Miami, according to media reports.
The donation will be made to a youth charity.
The 20-year-old Canadian singer, who was not present in court, will also have to get anger management counselling for 12 hours and attend a program on the effects of drunken driving.
Judge William Altfield said that he hoped Bieber realized that besides affecting him, his actions also “lead to consequences that affect others who are looking up to him as a role model.”
