  • Richard Kiel, an actor famous for playing the villain Jaws in James Bond movies, has died aged 74.

He was admitted to a hospital in California after he broke his leg a week ago, but it was not clear if his death was linked to this, reports said.

Kiel, who made his television debut in 1960, played the villain in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979), both Bond films starring Roger Moore. His other work included a role in the comedy Happy Gilmore.
