Homeland could run for years, says co-creator

American TV thriller Homeland could run for many more years, one of its Israeli co-creators said on Monday.
Gideon Raff, whose television drama Hatufim inspired the critically acclaimed show and who has co-written the American version, said that the character of a bipolar CIA agent played by Claire Danes could continue to generate more seasons.
"I know that the fact that Homeland has at its center a CIA analyst and her boss could allow it to continue for a good number of years more. It would always be possible to switch cases when a case ends," Raff told Israel's Army Radio from Los Angeles.
On Sunday, Homeland scooped the Golden Globe for best drama as well as best actress for Danes and best actor for Damian Lewis, who plays an Iraq veteran turned by al Qaeda.
