Harper Lee 'not pressured' into publishing Mockingbird sequel

  • Sleuths in the US have concluded an investigation on whether Harper Lee had been pressurized into publishing the sequel of 'To Kill A Mockingbird.'

The inquiry was led by the Alabama Securities Commission, which looks into the financial safety of senior citizens. The head of the commission said that he was satisfied that the 88-year-old Lee wanted the sequel published.

The new book is titled ‘Go Set a Watchman’. Lee has not released any novel after Mockingbird so far, and the sequel is being described as a major event in US publishing.
