Green Mile actor Michael Clarke Duncan passes away at 54

  • Actor Michael Clarke Duncan died on Monday, less than eight weeks after suffering a heart attack, at the age of 54.

    Duncan died in Los Angeles, his fiance, reality television star Omarosa Manigault said in a statement.

    Details on the cause of Duncan's death have not yet been released. The actor suffered a heart attack on July 13 and "never fully recovered”, according to his publicist.

    The Chicago native was best known for playing a death row inmate in the 1999 film The Green Mile, which saw him nominated for an Oscar for his supporting role.

    He also had roles in the 2003 comic book flick Daredevil and the 2005 film Sin City.
