Green Day cancel tours until March 2013

  • Green Day have canceled all tour commitments until March next year as front man Billie Joe Armstrong continues to receive treatment for substance abuse.

The band have canceled a north American tour which was due to continue into December.

Armstrong, 40, announced last month he was to receive treatment after an on-stage outburst at a festival in Las Vegas.
