Green Day cancel tours until March 2013

Green Day have canceled all tour commitments until March next year as front man Billie Joe Armstrong continues to receive treatment for substance abuse.
The band have canceled a north American tour which was due to continue into December.
A tour scheduled for January and February has also been postponed.
Armstrong, 40, announced last month he was to receive treatment after an on-stage outburst at a festival in Las Vegas.
The band also confirmed that they would bring forward the release of their album Tre from January to December.
