Dick Smith, legendary make-up artist, dies

Dick Smith, an Oscar-winning make-up artist, has died at the age of 92.
Smith won two Academy awards in the luminous career — for his work in Amadeus in 1985 and an honorary Oscar in 2011.
Smith, who was labeled “godfather of make-up,” was responsible for transforming the legendary Marlon Brando into Vito Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather in 1972.
His outstanding contribution to the art of make-up, includes his work in classics like The Exorcist and Taxi Driver.
